EXAM REQUIREMENTS

(At least 5 years in fundraising field)
The CFRE Program consists of three parts:
1.) A written
application
2.) A written examination
3.) An agreement
to uphold a code of ethics.
There is a
requirement to recertify every three (3) years.

www.cfre.org for CFRE exam locations and dates. Please remember
that applications to sit for the CFRE exam are due to CFRE
International at least 60 days prior to the exam date.

COURSES FOR THE CERTIFIED FUND RAISING EXECUTIVE (CFRE)
PROGRAM -
CFRE
International does not sponsor or endorse any programs
designed to prepare candidates for the Certified Fund Raising
Executive (CFRE) written examination. Any programs promoted as
preparatory or review courses are titled as such by the
individual sponsoring organizations.
CFRE International does not award
continuing education points toward applications for initial or
recertification certification for participating in any formal
or informal exam study courses or for teaching any such
courses.

for 2009 CFRE Study Group dates. Class
schedules will be posted here.
Meetings will be held
at the Selby Library, 2nd floor conference room (downtown) from
5:30-7:00p.m. The
fee for the class is $35. Checks can be made
payable to AFP and mailed to:

AFP's Suncoast Chapter and the Southwest Florida
Chapter will host a 2 day Comprehensive Development Seminar
for Experienced Development Professionals at the Poynter
Institute in downtown St Petersburg Attendance is
limited to Development professionals with 3 or more years of
fundraising/development experience with 501(c) 3 nonprofit
organizations. You may also want to consider attending
this seminar if you plan to sit for the CFRE exam in the
future. Registration Fee Not yet
finalized but definitely under $150 Course
