Webster's Dictionary defines Mentor as a wise and trusted
teacher, advisor, guide.
The Mentoring Program of the Southwest Florida Chapter of AFP
is offered as a benefit of membership to not only enhance our
chapter, but also your professional achievement level. The program
matches veteran fundraising professionals with AFP members who have
at least one year of experience in the development filed. While the
program is not intended to replace formal educational opportunities,
participants do gain valuable knowledge and skills through a
mentoring relationship. We invite your participation in this
important program by submitting an application so that the
Membership committee can best match Mentors with Mentees according
to common interests/needs and skills.
